At Canamer International, our heritage, since 1973, has always been the best installation with the United State’s largest crews.
After developing a covering system and obtaining patents for it in both the United States and Canada, Canamer expanded its operations to include covers for a variety of bulk commodities for government, agricultural and chemical industries.
After obtaining patents in 1990 as well as Trademarks for Polycan & Agrigard in 1982, Canamer became one of the most popular and dependable resources for cost effective commodity storage and Aeration control.
Canamer has been active in fabricating and installing containment caps. In 1985 after installing our first geomembrane containment liner, we have drastically expanded crew training to include geomembrane vendors; VLDPE, HDPE, CPE, EPDM, and PVC.
In 1988 we worked with Poly-America, Inc. on the installation of a state-of-the-art, 7-layer component synthetic landfill liner, that used over 1.5 million square feet of geomembrane, in Carroll County, Maryland. In 1991, Canamer installed liners in Hopkins, Minnesota, protecting a residential neighborhood from methane gas coming from a landfill closed 10 years earlier. The next year, we provided fire pit containment liners in Alaska and water conservations flowage liners in Oregon. Each year following 1988 we continually work to ensure the health and safety of communities and private businesses.
Canamer will continue to expand its operations and provide a secure future for our employees and support to customers.
