| Client United Airlines, Indianapolis, Indiana Project MOC II Project Central Pretreatment Facility, double secondary containment liner system. Working Dates August 11, 1994 - August 27, 1994 Synopsis Work had to be performed in coordination with many other subcontractors for United Airlines at a congested and busy site at the Indianapolis airport. Numerous changes to the project resulted in alteration of the scope of work. Problems/Solutions Area inside tank rings had to be lined prior to the tanks being placed. One layer of membrane was installed with a geonet immediately on top of it then another layer of geomembranes was installed on top of the net providing a leak detection area between the two layers of HDPE. This entire process was duplicated outside of the tank foundation rings and the geomembranes was anchored in place with #304 Stainless Steel Batten bar strips.
